Still, there are major challenges. The small domestic market limits economies of scale, and importing machines and materials remains expensive. Electricity reliability and skilled labor shortages also create hurdles. Yet, with patient investment, policy support, and collaboration with neighboring countries, Seychelles could build a sustainable and efficient CNC machining sector, serving both its local and regional needs.
